Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FBXO3, also known as F-box protein 3, is a member of the F-box protein family, which plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, a key pathway for protein degradation and cellular regulation. It acts as a substrate-recognition component of SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes, facilitating the ubiquitination of specific target proteins for degradation. This process is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis, regulating various cellular processes such as cell cycle progression, signal transduction, and apoptosis. Recent studies have implicated FBXO3 in diverse biological functions and diseases, including its potential role in cancer, where it may influence tumor progression and metastatic potential by modulating the degradation of oncogenic and tumor suppressor proteins. Understanding the structure and functioning of FBXO3 is essential for elucidating its biological significance and therapeutic potential. Therefore, the recombinant expression and purification of FBXO3 protein have become important areas of research, enabling detailed biochemical and structural studies. Investigating FBXO3’s specific interactions with substrates and other components of the ubiquitin system could uncover novel mechanisms of regulation, paving the way for targeted therapies aimed at diseases associated with dysregulated protein degradation pathways.
