Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MMP24, or matrix metalloproteinase 24, is a member of the matrix metalloproteinase family, which play a crucial role in the remodeling of extracellular matrix components. These enzymes are involved in various physiological processes, including tissue repair, development, and inflammation, as well as pathological conditions such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Specifically, MMP24 is known to interact with various substrates, contributing to the degradation of collagen and other matrix proteins. Research on recombinant MMP24 has gained prominence due to its potential applications in understanding disease mechanisms, developing therapeutic strategies, and engineering biomaterials. Recombinant production of MMP24 allows for detailed studies of its enzymatic properties, regulatory mechanisms, and interaction with inhibitors, which are critical for designing targeted treatments in conditions where matrix remodeling is dysregulated. Furthermore, MMP24's role in cell migration and invasion makes it a potential biomarker for metastasis in cancer research. Overall, the exploration of MMP24 recombinant protein not only enhances our knowledge of extracellular matrix dynamics but also opens new avenues for biomedical applications in regenerative medicine and cancer therapy.
