稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MMP21 (Matrix Metalloproteinase 21) is an important member of the matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) family, which plays a crucial role in the remodeling of extracellular matrix (ECM) components and tissue homeostasis. Its expression has been linked to various physiological processes, including embryogenesis, wound healing, and reproduction. Additionally, MMP21 has been implicated in several pathological conditions, such as cancer progression, inflammation, and cardiovascular diseases, making it a significant target for therapeutic research. The interest in MMP21 has grown due to its unique structural features and substrate specificity, which differentiate it from other MMPs. Studies have shown that MMP21 can degrade specific ECM proteins, influencing cell behavior and tissue integrity. The production of recombinant MMP21 proteins has become a valuable tool for investigating its biological functions, potential role in disease mechanisms, and interactions with other molecules. By utilizing recombinant protein techniques, researchers can obtain MMP21 in sufficient quantities for in vitro and in vivo studies, enabling a deeper understanding of its enzymatic activity and therapeutic potential. Given the multifaceted roles of MMP21 in various biological contexts, ongoing research aims to elucidate its precise functions and develop targeted strategies for modulating its activity in disease states.
