稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The OPTN (optineurin) gene plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including intracellular trafficking, autophagy, and immune response regulation. Initially identified for its mutations associated with glaucoma, recent studies have expanded its significance to neurodegenerative diseases, particularly amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Research has shown that misfolded or aggregates of OPTN can lead to cellular dysfunction and neuronal death. Furthermore, OPTN is involved in the regulation of NF-κB signaling and can modulate the inflammatory response, highlighting its potential role in neuroinflammation. Given its multifaceted functions, the study of OPTN-recombinant proteins has become pivotal for understanding its mechanisms in both health and disease. Investigating these proteins can shed light on the pathways contributing to neurodegeneration and may provide targets for therapeutic intervention. Additionally, OPTN's involvement in autophagy suggests that manipulating its activity could enhance the clearance of toxic protein aggregates. Overall, the exploration of OPTN-recombinant proteins is essential for unraveling the complexities of pathologies linked to this gene and developing innovative strategies to combat neurodegenerative disorders.
