Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SYNPO, or Synaptopodin, is a protein primarily expressed in the brain, particularly in neurons and podocytes of the kidney. It plays a critical role in the architecture and functioning of dendritic spines, which are essential for synaptic plasticity and cognitive functions such as learning and memory. Recent studies have indicated that alterations in SYNPO expression and function may be linked to various neurodevelopmental disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and kidney pathologies. The potential of SYNPO as a biomarker for these conditions has spurred research into its mechanism of action and interactions within neural networks. Additionally, the investigation of SYNPO through recombinant protein techniques enables researchers to elucidate its structural properties and functional roles in cellular contexts. This recombinant approach facilitates the study of SYNPO's impact on synaptic dynamics and the overall health of neural circuits. Understanding SYNPO's role at the molecular level could reveal new therapeutic targets for diseases associated with synaptic dysfunction and provide insights into neurobiological processes. As such, SYNPO represents a compelling subject for ongoing research aimed at unraveling the complexities of synapse regulation and its implications for both neuronal health and disease.
