Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SYNPO2 (synaptopodin 2) is a member of the synaptopodin family, which plays a crucial role in the development and regulation of neuronal and glial cells. Research into SYNPO2 has gained momentum due to its involvement in synaptic functions and potential implications in various neurological disorders. Previous studies have shown that SYNPO2 is intricately linked to cytoskeletal dynamics, influencing cell morphology and synaptic plasticity, which are vital for learning and memory processes. Additionally, SYNPO2 has been implicated in the pathology of conditions such as autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia. The recombinant protein form of SYNPO2 allows for detailed investigation of its structural and functional properties, facilitating a deeper understanding of its role in cellular mechanisms. Researchers aim to elucidate its interactions with other proteins and investigate its regulatory functions in neurodevelopmental processes. The study of SYNPO2 recombinant protein not only enhances our comprehension of synaptic structure and function but also holds potential for developing therapeutic strategies to target related neurodegenerative diseases, offering hope for future interventions to restore synaptic integrity and function in affected individuals.
