Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Bone morphogenetic protein 4 (BMP4) is a member of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) superfamily and plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including embryogenesis, osteogenesis, and tissue regeneration. Research on BMP4 recombinant protein has gained significant attention due to its essential functions in promoting bone and cartilage development, making it a potential candidate for therapeutic applications in bone disorders and tissue engineering. Studies have shown that BMP4 can stimulate the differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells into osteoblasts and enhance the healing of skeletal injuries. Furthermore, BMP4's involvement in regulating cellular proliferation, apoptosis, and immune response underscores its importance in both developmental biology and regenerative medicine. Researchers are increasingly focused on optimizing the production and purification of BMP4 recombinant proteins to explore their efficacy in clinical settings. This includes investigating BMP4's interactions with other signaling pathways and its potential synergistic effects when used in conjunction with other growth factors. The continuous exploration of BMP4's molecular mechanisms and biological activities offers promising avenues for developing novel therapies for critical bone and cartilage-related conditions, thereby advancing the field of regenerative medicine.
