Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SERPINB3, also known as squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCCA), is a member of the serpin superfamily of proteins and has gained attention in cancer research due to its involvement in various malignancies, particularly squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Its expression is often upregulated in cancer tissues, suggesting a role in tumor progression and immune evasion. SERPINB3 functions primarily as a serine protease inhibitor, modulating proteolytic activity in the extracellular environment, which can influence tumor microenvironments and metastatic behavior. Additionally, it has been linked to the regulation of apoptosis, inflammation, and cell proliferation, highlighting its multifaceted role in cancer biology. Investigating SERPINB3 as a recombinant protein has significant implications for understanding its structural and functional dynamics, which may reveal potential therapeutic targets or biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Moreover, the recombinant production of SERPINB3 facilitates the exploration of its interactions with various proteases and other regulatory molecules, aiding in the elucidation of its mechanistic contributions to tumorigenesis. Given its unique expression patterns in different cancer types and stages, research into SERPINB3 also opens avenues for tailored treatments and personalized medicine approaches, making it a focal point in ongoing cancer biology studies.
