Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SERPINB2, also known as Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor 2 (PAI-2), is a member of the serpin superfamily of proteins, which primarily functions as a serine protease inhibitor. Research into SERPINB2 has gained momentum due to its significant role in various physiological and pathological processes, including inflammation, apoptosis, and cancer progression. This protein is predominantly expressed in immune cells and plays a crucial role in regulating tissue homeostasis and immune responses by inhibiting plasminogen activators, thereby modulating extracellular matrix degradation and tissue remodeling. Elevated levels of SERPINB2 have been associated with several malignancies, suggesting that it may have tumor suppressive or oncogenic effects depending on the context. Additionally, SERPINB2's involvement in inflammatory diseases and its potential as a biomarker for disease prognosis highlight its biological importance. The production of recombinant SERPINB2 protein allows for detailed studies of its structure-function relationships and provides insights into its mechanistic roles in disease states. Furthermore, understanding SERPINB2's functions can pave the way for novel therapeutic interventions targeting serpin pathways in various diseases. As such, the study of recombinant SERPINB2 is crucial for unraveling its complex biology and exploring its potential clinical applications in managing diseases linked to dysregulated protease activity.
