Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GMEB1 (Glycine-rich RNA-binding protein 1) is a crucial protein involved in various cellular processes, including stress response, RNA metabolism, and cell signaling. Recent studies have highlighted its importance in regulating gene expression and its potential link to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. As a member of the glycine-rich protein family, GMEB1 contains multiple RNA-binding domains, allowing it to interact with RNA and influence the stability and translation of target transcripts. Research on GMEB1 has gained momentum due to its dual role in both promoting and inhibiting transcription, which may contribute to pathophysiological conditions. The recombinant expression of GMEB1 is essential for examining its structure-function relationships and identifying potential therapeutic targets. By producing GMEB1 as a recombinant protein, researchers aim to elucidate its molecular mechanisms and interactions, providing insights into its role in cellular homeostasis. Consequently, a better understanding of GMEB1's function may pave the way for developing novel strategies for treating associated diseases, making it a significant focus of current biomedical research.
