Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GMCL1, or Germ Cell-Like 1, is a protein that plays a critical role in spermatogenesis and is primarily expressed in germ cells. Its expression and function have garnered significant attention in recent years due to its potential implications in male fertility, particularly in conditions causing infertility. Research indicates that GMCL1 is essential for the maintenance of germ cell pluripotency and differentiation, suggesting a pivotal role in the development of male gametes. Investigations into GMCL1 have revealed that it may be involved in cellular signaling pathways that regulate germ cell proliferation and maturation. Understanding the mechanisms underlying GMCL1 function could provide insights into the biological basis of infertility and may also offer therapeutic targets for reproductive health interventions. Additionally, the exploration of GMCL1 as a recombinant protein has opened avenues for studying its structural properties and interactions with other cellular components, which is crucial for elucidating its role in reproductive biology. Overall, GMCL1 research holds promise for advancing our knowledge of male reproductive health and addressing associated disorders.
