Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FOXC2, a member of the Forkhead box (Fox) transcription factor family, plays a critical role in various biological processes, including development, metabolism, and cell differentiation. Its significance has been underscored in studies related to cancer progression and metastasis, particularly in epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), where it promotes invasive characteristics in cancer cells. Dysregulation of FOXC2 has also been implicated in lymphatic and vascular disorders, such as lymphedema. Given its multifaceted roles, researchers are increasingly focused on the biochemical properties and functional mechanisms of FOXC2. The production of recombinant FOXC2 protein enables detailed studies on its structural attributes, interaction with other cellular proteins, and impact on gene expression. This research not only helps to elucidate the molecular pathways involving FOXC2 but also aids in identifying potential therapeutic targets for diseases where FOXC2 is a key player. Advances in recombinant protein technology facilitate the purification and characterization of FOXC2, paving the way for insights into its contributions to both normal physiology and pathophysiological conditions. Through these investigations, scientists aim to develop novel strategies for manipulating FOXC2 activity in a clinical context, potentially leading to innovative treatments for cancer and other related disorders.
