Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UTP18 is a crucial component of the pre-ribosomal particle, playing an essential role in the assembly of ribosomal RNA and proteins into ribosomes, which are fundamental for protein synthesis in cells. The study of UTP18 and its function is significant because ribosome biogenesis is a highly regulated process, and any disruption can lead to various human diseases, including cancer. UTP18 is involved in early stages of ribosome assembly, particularly in facilitating the processing of rRNA and the incorporation of ribosomal proteins. Recent research has highlighted its interactions with other ribosome biogenesis factors and its role in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Understanding the structure-function relationship of UTP18, as well as its pathological implications, could provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying ribosomopathies. By exploring UTP18's mechanism of action and regulatory pathways, researchers aim to develop targeted therapeutic strategies to address conditions related to dysfunctional ribosome assembly, thereby contributing to the broader field of molecular biology and medicine.
