Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
USP26, or Ubiquitin Specific Peptidase 26, is a member of the deubiquitinating enzyme (DUB) family, which plays a critical role in regulating protein turnover and cellular homeostasis by removing ubiquitin moieties from substrate proteins. Research into USP26 has gained momentum due to its significant implications in various biological processes and diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Notably, USP26 has been linked to spermatogenesis, with mutations identified in male infertility cases. Understanding the structure and function of USP26 is crucial for elucidating its role in these pathological conditions and may provide insights into novel therapeutic strategies. The production of recombinant USP26 protein allows researchers to explore its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and interactions with other cellular proteins in a controlled environment. This research not only aids in deciphering the molecular mechanisms underlying the functions of USP26 but also enhances our understanding of the broader proteostasis network within cells. As such, the investigation of USP26 through recombinant protein generation represents a key area of study with potential implications for fertility treatments and targeted therapies in cancer biology.
