Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FHOD1 (Formin Homology 2 Domain Containing 1) is a crucial protein involved in the regulation of the actin cytoskeleton, playing a significant role in various cellular processes, including cell migration, division, and morphology. Specifically, FHOD1 is known for its ability to promote actin filament nucleation and elongation, which are essential steps in shaping cellular structures and facilitating movement. Recent studies have highlighted its importance in several physiological and pathological contexts, such as wound healing, immune responses, and cancer metastasis. Given its multifunctional roles, the detailed understanding of FHOD1’s structural and functional properties is of great interest. Research on the recombinant form of FHOD1 has become a key area of focus, as it allows for the exploration of its interactions with other proteins and the identification of regulatory mechanisms at play in actin dynamics. By generating and characterizing FHOD1 recombinant proteins, scientists aim to uncover how alterations in FHOD1 function may contribute to disease progression, particularly in cancers where the actin cytoskeleton is often dysregulated. This research not only enhances our understanding of FHOD1's biological significance but also paves the way for potential therapeutic targets in diseases associated with actin cytoskeleton abnormalities.
