Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UBE2CBP, a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family, plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which regulates protein degradation and turnover within cells. This enzyme is particularly implicated in modulating the stability and function of various target proteins by facilitating the attachment of ubiquitin molecules, thereby marking them for degradation. Research has highlighted UBE2CBP's involvement in critical biological processes, including cell cycle regulation, DNA repair, and various signaling pathways. Aberrations in UBE2CBP activity have been linked to several diseases, especially cancer, where altered protein degradation can lead to the accumulation of oncogenic proteins or the loss of tumor suppressors. The investigation of UBE2CBP not only enhances our understanding of the fundamental mechanisms of protein homeostasis but also opens avenues for therapeutic interventions that target the ubiquitin-proteasome system. Studies have focused on elucidating its structural characteristics, substrate specificity, and the regulatory networks it participates in, with the aim of developing strategies to manipulate its function for potential clinical benefits. Thus, UBE2CBP represents a significant focus in the fields of molecular biology and cancer research, as harnessing its activity could lead to innovative treatments for diseases characterized by dysregulated protein turnover.
