Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RNASEL (Ribonuclease L) is an important enzyme that plays a critical role in the innate immune response by degrading RNA from viruses and cellular stress. It is encoded by the RNASEL gene, which is located on chromosome 1 and has been linked to various diseases, including prostate cancer and chronic inflammation. The protein is activated by 2-5A (bis(5’-adenosine) polyphosphate), a signaling molecule that is produced in response to viral infections. Once activated, RNASEL targets both messenger RNA and viral RNA, leading to the inhibition of viral replication and the promotion of apoptosis in infected cells. Due to its pivotal role in antiviral defense, RNASEL has garnered attention for its potential therapeutic applications, particularly in enhancing immune responses against viral infections and in cancer treatment. Recent studies have focused on the structural and functional characterization of RNASEL, exploring its catalytic mechanisms, regulation, and potential as a biomarker for disease prognosis. Understanding the molecular biology of RNASEL and its pathways provides insight into new therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating immune responses and improving treatment outcomes for various diseases. Given the rapid evolution of emerging viral pathogens and the increasing prevalence of cancer, research on RNASEL is essential for developing innovative therapeutic approaches in an era of growing health challenges.
