  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TTC15, also known as Tetratricopeptide Repeat Protein 15, is a member of the tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) protein family, which is characterized by its repetitive structure that mediates protein-protein interactions. Research into TTC15 has gained momentum due to its potential role in various cellular processes, such as protein folding, mitochondrial dynamics, and the regulation of cellular stress responses. Recent studies have suggested that TTC15 might be involved in the pathogenesis of several diseases, including certain neurodegenerative disorders and metabolic syndromes. Its expression patterns and functional implications in different tissues indicate that it could play a crucial role in maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental stressors. The recombinant production of TTC15 protein is critical for in-depth functional studies, including its interaction with other proteins and its biological mechanisms. By using recombinant DNA technology, researchers aim to isolate and characterize TTC15 to unravel its structural properties and to elucidate its functional roles within the cell. Understanding the biological significance of TTC15 could lead to new insights into its involvement in disease and pave the way for potential therapeutic interventions targeting TPR-dependent pathways. This burgeoning field of research highlights the importance of TTC15 as a candidate for future studies focused on protein interactions and their implications in health and disease.
