Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FANCM, a crucial member of the Fanconi anemia (FA) pathway, plays a vital role in maintaining genome stability by facilitating the repair of DNA interstrand cross-links. Research on FANCM has gained momentum due to its association with hereditary breast and ovarian cancers, as well as other malignancies. Mutations in the FANCM gene compromise DNA repair mechanisms, leading to increased susceptibility to cancer development. Investigating the structure and function of FANCM is essential for understanding its role in the FA pathway and its interactions with other key proteins involved in DNA repair. The recombinant expression of FANCM protein is pivotal for studying its biochemical properties, interactions, and the mechanisms underlying its function in DNA damage response. Additionally, understanding how FANCM interfaces with other FA proteins could illuminate potential therapeutic targets for enhancing cancer treatment strategies. Therefore, the exploration of FANCM through recombinant protein studies is critical for advancing our knowledge of DNA repair processes and developing novel approaches to cancer prevention and treatment.
