Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IQGAP1 is a member of the IQGAP family of scaffold proteins, known to play a vital role in various cellular processes, including cytoskeletal dynamics, cell adhesion, and signal transduction. It contains multiple protein-binding domains, enabling interactions with various partners such as Rho GTPases, cadherins, and other signaling molecules. This multifunctionality places IQGAP1 at the center of numerous biological pathways, particularly those related to cell migration, proliferation, and differentiation. Abnormal expression or function of IQGAP1 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer. Research has shown that it can influence tumor progression and metastasis through the modulation of the actin cytoskeleton and signaling pathways involved in cell motility. Consequently, the study of recombinant IQGAP1 protein has gained significant importance in understanding its structural and functional roles. By producing this protein in a recombinant form, researchers can investigate its interactions with other proteins, elucidate its role in cellular mechanisms, and explore its potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the molecular basis of IQGAP1's functions could provide insights into novel strategies for treating diseases associated with its dysregulation.
