Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FAM46A (Familial Alzheimer’s Disease Protein 46A) has emerged as a significant focus of research due to its potential implications in various diseases, particularly in neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease. It is a member of the FAM46 family of proteins, which are implicated in cellular processes such as regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Recent studies have suggested that FAM46A may play a crucial role in RNA metabolism, influencing the stability and translation of mRNA. Its association with the immune response and inflammation further underscores its biological relevance. The investigation of FAM46A recombinant proteins is crucial for elucidating its functional mechanisms and interactions within cellular pathways. By employing advanced techniques such as protein expression, purification, and characterization, researchers aim to better understand how FAM46A contributes to pathophysiological conditions and its potential as a therapeutic target. Thus, the study of FAM46A recombinant proteins holds promising prospects for uncovering novel insights into disease mechanisms and developing innovative strategies for intervention in Alzheimer's and other related conditions.
