Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The TAT1 protein, a member of the TAT (Transporter Associated with Antigen Processing) family, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its crucial role in the transport of various substrates across cellular membranes. Research into TAT1, particularly its recombinant form, is driven by its potential implications in both basic science and therapeutic applications. TAT1 is involved in the transport of amino acids, particularly in plants and some microorganisms, which makes it essential for metabolism and growth. Furthermore, understanding the structure and function of TAT1 can provide insights into transport mechanisms that could be harnessed for biotechnological applications, such as improving crop resilience or increasing the efficiency of protein production systems. Recombinant technologies enable the production of TAT1 in sufficient quantities for detailed biochemical and biophysical characterization, facilitating the exploration of its transport mechanisms and substrate specificity. The ability to study TAT1 in a controlled environment opens avenues for investigating its interactions with other proteins and cellular components, potentially leading to breakthroughs in enhancing nutrient transport in crops or developing novel drug delivery systems. As research progresses, the recombinant TAT1 protein may emerge as a key player in advancing our understanding of membrane transport and its applications in agriculture and medicine. Overall, the study of TAT1 represents a confluence of plant biology, cellular transport mechanisms, and biotechnological innovation, marking it as a valuable target for future research endeavors.
