Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FAM40A, a member of the FAM40 gene family, is increasingly recognized for its potential role in cellular processes, particularly in cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Research has indicated that FAM40A may be involved in various signaling pathways, including those related to oncogenesis and cellular stress responses. Its precise function and mechanisms remain partially understood, prompting scientific interest in the characterization of its protein structure and function. Recombinant FAM40A protein production is a vital step in elucidating these roles, as it allows researchers to perform functional assays and structural analyses. These studies hold promise for revealing how FAM40A interacts with other cellular components and contributes to disease states, such as cancer. Furthermore, understanding FAM40A's role could lead to the identification of novel biomarkers or therapeutic targets. As a result, the production and analysis of recombinant FAM40A protein are critical for advancing our knowledge of this protein's implications in health and disease, potentially paving the way for innovative treatment approaches.
