Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FAM129C, also known as KIAA1987, is a protein encoded by the FAM129C gene, which has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential involvement in various cellular processes, including cell signaling, proliferation, and apoptosis. Research indicates that FAM129C may play a crucial role in the modulation of immune responses and has been implicated in the pathways related to cancer development and progression. Its expression levels have been observed to vary significantly in different tissue types and pathological conditions, suggesting a function in oncogenic processes. Furthermore, FAM129C is thought to interact with key signaling molecules, influencing the activities of several important pathways, including the AXL receptor tyrosine kinase signaling pathway, which is associated with tumor growth and metastasis. The recombinant production of FAM129C protein is essential for elucidating its molecular mechanisms and functional roles in cellular contexts. Understanding the structure and function of FAM129C through recombinant protein studies could provide insights into its potential as a therapeutic target, particularly in cancer immunotherapy. Given these factors, the study of FAM129C recombinant protein is critical for advancing our knowledge of its biological functions and therapeutic implications, thereby shedding light on its contribution to disease mechanisms and potential interventions.
