Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FAM129A, also known as T cell-specific adapter protein or T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain-containing protein 3 (TIM-3), has gained attention in immunology and cancer research due to its significant role in T cell signaling and immune response regulation. Studies have shown that FAM129A is involved in various cellular processes, including apoptosis, cell proliferation, and differentiation, making it a potential therapeutic target for immunological disorders and cancer. Additionally, FAM129A's expression is often associated with tumor progression and metastasis, suggesting that it may serve as a biomarker for cancer prognosis. The generation of recombinant FAM129A protein allows for a deeper understanding of its molecular functions and interactions within the immune system. By utilizing recombinant technology, researchers can produce large quantities of pure protein to study its structural properties, signaling pathways, and ligand interactions. This research is crucial for identifying novel therapeutic strategies that could manipulate FAM129A activity to enhance anti-tumor immunity or restore immune function in autoimmune diseases. Overall, the exploration of FAM129A through recombinant protein studies holds promise for advancing our understanding of immune regulation and developing targeted therapies in oncology and autoimmune conditions.
