Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TRAPPC8 (Trafficking Protein Particle Complex 8) is a crucial component of the trafficking protein particle complex involved in the regulation of intracellular transport, particularly in the context of vesicle trafficking and endosomal dynamics. Dysfunction in TRAPPC8 is associated with various cellular disorders, including lipid metabolism abnormalities and neurodegenerative diseases. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of TRAPPC8 in maintaining cellular homeostasis and its role in autophagy and other essential cellular processes. Researchers are particularly interested in characterizing the structure and function of TRAPPC8, as this may reveal insights into its mechanistic role in cellular pathways and its potential implications in disease. The production of recombinant TRAPPC8 protein allows for detailed biochemical assays and structural analysis, which can facilitate the understanding of TRAPPC8's interactions within the larger TRAPPC complex and its various partners. Investigating the molecular function of TRAPPC8 through recombinant protein studies could pave the way for identifying therapeutic targets for diseases linked to its dysfunction, ultimately contributing to advancements in targeted therapies and treatments.
