Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Dipeptidyl peptidase 6 (DPP6) is a type of serine protease that plays a crucial role in modulating the activity of voltage-gated potassium channels, particularly in the central nervous system. Recent studies have highlighted its importance in neuronal excitability and synaptic transmission, suggesting that DPP6 may influence various neurological conditions and disorders. Given its involvement in channel modulation, DPP6 has attracted attention as a potential therapeutic target for diseases such as epilepsy, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. The recombinant production of DPP6 protein allows researchers to study its structure-function relationships and mechanisms of action in greater detail. This can facilitate the identification of specific binding partners and elucidate its regulatory effects on ion channels. Additionally, understanding the interplay between DPP6 and other proteins involved in signal transduction pathways may reveal novel insights into neuronal health and disease. Overall, research on recombinant DPP6 protein is essential for advancing our knowledge of its biological functions and exploring its potential implications in medical science.
