Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The ZMYM5 protein, a member of the Zinc-finger MYM-type (ZMYM) family, has garnered interest in molecular biology due to its potential roles in gene regulation and disease mechanisms. Research has suggested that ZMYM5 is involved in various cellular processes, including transcriptional regulation, DNA repair, and chromatin remodeling. Mutations or aberrant expression of ZMYM5 have been associated with several human diseases, notably certain cancers, highlighting its significance in oncogenic pathways. Additionally, the intricate interactions of ZMYM5 with other proteins and its influence on signaling networks make it a compelling target for understanding the molecular underpinnings of tumorigenesis. Given the growing recognition of the importance of post-translational modifications and protein-protein interactions in cellular function, studies focusing on the recombinant expression and functional analysis of ZMYM5 can provide critical insights into its biological roles and therapeutic potential. Advances in recombinant protein technology, coupled with high-throughput screening methods, may facilitate the investigation of ZMYM5's structure-function relationships and its involvement in disease processes, offering new avenues for targeted therapies and biomarker development in cancer and other diseases associated with dysregulated gene expression.
