Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
APBA2 (Amyloid Precursor Protein Binding Protein 2) is a key protein that has garnered significant interest in neurobiology due to its association with amyloid precursor protein (APP) processing and its potential implications in Alzheimer's disease. The study of APBA2 is crucial as it binds to APP, influencing the pathways of amyloid-beta (Aβ) generation, which is a hallmark of Alzheimer's pathology. Dysregulation of this process can lead to increased Aβ accumulation, synaptic dysfunction, and ultimately neurodegeneration. Research has shown that APBA2 may play a role in synaptic plasticity and cognitive functions, providing insights into mechanisms underlying learning and memory. The exploration of APBA2’s structure, function, and its interactions with other proteins can unveil novel therapeutic targets for Alzheimer’s disease. Given the aging population and the rising incidence of neurodegenerative disorders, understanding APBA2's role in neuronal health is paramount. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology allow for the detailed study of APBA2, enabling researchers to investigate its functional consequences in cellular models and in vivo systems. The elucidation of APBA2's biological significance could contribute to the development of innovative strategies aimed at mitigating the effects of Alzheimer’s disease and enhancing cognitive resilience.
