  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

ZFYVE1, also known as zinc finger, FYVE domain-containing protein 1, is a member of the FYVE domain-containing protein family, which plays a critical role in intracellular trafficking, membrane dynamics, and cellular signaling pathways. Its involvement in endosomal processes and autophagy has drawn significant interest in recent years, particularly due to its potential implications in various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. Research has demonstrated that ZFYVE1 interacts with phosphoinositides, facilitating its localization to specific membranes within the cell and influencing cellular processes related to vesicle transport and membrane fusion. Additionally, mutations in the ZFYVE1 gene have been linked to certain developmental disorders, highlighting its importance in normal physiological function. Understanding the structure and activity of ZFYVE1 can provide insights into its mechanism of action and its role in health and disease, making recombinant ZFYVE1 protein an essential tool for studying its biological functions and potential therapeutic applications. Researchers are particularly focused on producing a functional recombinant form of ZFYVE1 to delve deeper into its molecular interactions, structural characteristics, and potential implications in drug development and targeted therapies. As the field progresses, ZFYVE1’s role in signaling pathways and its interactions with other cellular components continue to emerge as critical areas of investigation, further underscoring the necessity for robust research into this intriguing protein.
