Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TIAM2 (T-cell lymphoma invasion and metastasis 2) is a member of the TIAM family of guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs) that primarily activates the small GTPase Rac1, playing a crucial role in various cellular processes including cell migration, adhesion, and signaling. Due to its involvement in oncogenesis and metastasis, particularly in T-cell lymphomas and other cancers, TIAM2 has attracted significant research interest. The study of recombinant TIAM2 proteins is pivotal for elucidating its mechanisms of action and interactions within signaling pathways. Understanding these interactions could provide insights into the molecular dynamics of cancer progression and highlight potential therapeutic targets. Furthermore, recombinant TIAM2 proteins serve as essential tools for structural and functional studies, enabling the exploration of post-translational modifications, protein-protein interactions, and the effects of specific mutations associated with malignancies. Given the complexities of cancer biology, the generation of recombinant TIAM2 allows researchers to dissect its functional roles in different cellular contexts, paving the way for the development of novel strategies in cancer therapy and intervention. As research continues, the exploration of TIAM2 holds promise for enhancing our understanding of tumor biology and improving patient outcomes through targeted treatments.
