Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HHIP (Hedgehog Interacting Protein) is a crucial protein that plays a significant role in regulating the Hedgehog signaling pathway, which is essential for various developmental processes and tissue homeostasis. Abnormalities in this pathway are implicated in several diseases, including various cancers and congenital disorders. Research into HHIP has gained momentum as scientists seek to understand its structure, function, and interactions with Hedgehog ligands. The production of recombinant HHIP protein allows for detailed studies of its biochemical properties and its role in modulating Hedgehog signaling. By using recombinant techniques, researchers can generate high-purity forms of HHIP, enabling in vitro assays, structural analyses, and potential therapeutic applications. Moreover, studying HHIP’s interactions with other pathway components can provide insights into its mechanism of action and therapeutic implications in diseases associated with aberrant Hedgehog signaling. As such, the investigation of recombinant HHIP has become a focal point in the field of molecular biology, aiming not only to dissect the fundamental principles of cell signaling but also to develop novel strategies for clinical interventions targeting Hedgehog-mediated pathologies.
