Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TEKT4, a member of the tektin protein family, plays a crucial role in the structural integrity and motility of cilia and flagella. Research into TEKT4 has gained attention due to its potential implications in reproductive biology and developmental processes. This protein is primarily expressed in the testis and is involved in the formation of axonemal structures in sperm, facilitating effective motility. Abnormalities in TEKT4 expression or function have been associated with male infertility, underscoring its significance in spermiogenesis and overall fertility. Moreover, investigations into TEKT4 can provide insights into broader cellular mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets for treating ciliary and flagellar dysfunctions. As the understanding of TEKT4 continues to evolve, it offers promising avenues for research aimed at elucidating the molecular underpinnings of fertility and the function of motile cilia in various biological systems, positioning it as a critical focus within cell biology and reproductive health studies.
