Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EDG3, a member of the endothelial differentiation gene (EDG) family, encodes a G protein-coupled receptor that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including lymphocyte trafficking, angiogenesis, and the regulation of vascular processes. Research into EDG3 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in immunology and cancer biology, where its dysregulation may contribute to disease progression and metastasis. The receptor's interaction with sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P), a bioactive lipid mediator, is particularly significant as it influences cellular responses and migration patterns in immune cells and endothelial cells. In recent studies, recombinant EDG3 protein has been produced to explore its structure-function relationships and therapeutic applications. Understanding the pathways involving EDG3 may reveal novel targets for drug development aimed at modulating immune responses and inhibiting tumor growth. Additionally, the study of EDG3's role in pathological conditions such as cardiovascular diseases and autoimmunity is imperative, as it could provide insights into novel therapeutic strategies that can enhance patient outcomes. Overall, the research on EDG3 and its recombinant protein offers valuable opportunities for advancing our understanding of cellular signaling mechanisms and developing innovative treatments for various diseases.
