Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), also known as CCL2, is a chemokine critically involved in the recruitment of monocytes to sites of inflammation and tissue injury. It plays a significant role in various physiological and pathological processes, including immune response, tissue repair, and the progression of diseases such as atherosclerosis, cancer, and chronic inflammatory conditions. The study of recombinant MCP-1 protein has gained traction due to its potential therapeutic applications, including the modulation of immune responses and the treatment of inflammatory diseases. Researchers are focused on understanding the structural and functional characteristics of MCP-1, to devise targeted interventions that may inhibit its activity or mimic its function in various therapeutic settings. Moreover, the production of recombinant MCP-1 using techniques like recombinant DNA technology allows for the availability of high-purity protein for in vitro and in vivo studies, facilitating the exploration of its biological effects and interactions with various receptors. This research not only deepens our understanding of MCP-1 in immune regulation but also paves the way for developing novel therapeutics aimed at mitigating diseases driven by aberrant inflammation.
