Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
XPOT (Exportin-5-like protein) is a member of the exportin family, which plays a crucial role in the nucleocytoplasmic transport of various RNA species, particularly miRNAs and certain mRNAs. Understanding the structure and function of XPOT is essential due to its involvement in gene regulation and cellular processes, including the maintenance of cellular homeostasis and response to stress. Recent studies have suggested that XPOT may have implications in various diseases, including cancer, where dysregulation of miRNA processing is often observed. The reconstitution of XPOT protein in vitro allows researchers to dissect its transport mechanism and interaction with various RNA molecules, enabling a better understanding of its biological significance and potential therapeutic targets. Furthermore, characterizing XPOT through recombinant protein production can facilitate the identification of small molecule inhibitors or modulators, potentially leading to novel treatment strategies for diseases associated with miRNA dysregulation. This research is vital for advancing our knowledge of RNA transport systems and their roles in health and disease.
