稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C8b recombinant protein, a component of the complement system, has garnered significant attention in immunology and therapeutic research due to its pivotal role in the immune response. The complement system is a crucial part of innate immunity, comprising a series of proteins that enhance the ability of antibodies and phagocytic cells to clear pathogens from an organism. C8b specifically is involved in the formation of the cytolytic complement membrane attack complex (MAC), which is essential for lysing target cells, particularly during bacterial infections. Research has shown that deficiencies or malfunctions in complement proteins can lead to increased susceptibility to infections, autoimmune diseases, and other immunological disorders. As a result, recombinant C8b proteins are being explored not only for their potential use in diagnostic assays but also as therapeutic agents to modulate immune responses. Advances in recombinant DNA technology have facilitated the production of C8b in controlled environments, allowing for detailed studies of its mechanisms and effects. Understanding the structure-function relationship of C8b could pave the way for developing novel therapies that harness the complement system's power, potentially offering new strategies for treating various diseases, including chronic infections and certain cancers. The ongoing research aims to elucidate the functional roles of C8b and its interactions within the immune system, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of immune regulation and therapeutic intervention.
