Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-24 (IL-24), a member of the IL-10 cytokine family, has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its unique dual role in tumor biology and immune regulation. Initially identified for its ability to inhibit tumor cell growth and induce apoptosis selectively in malignant cells, IL-24 has been investigated for its potential as a therapeutic agent in cancer treatment. Its expression is often downregulated in various tumors, suggesting that restoring IL-24 levels could enhance anti-tumor immunity and provide a novel avenue for targeted therapies. Additionally, IL-24 exhibits properties that can modulate immune responses, which has implications not only in oncology but also in autoimmune diseases and chronic inflammatory conditions. Research into recombinant forms of IL-24 aims to elucidate its mechanisms of action, optimize its therapeutic use, and evaluate its effectiveness in combination therapies. By harnessing the properties of IL-24, scientists are exploring its potential to both directly inhibit tumor progression and rebalance immune responses, paving the way for innovative treatment strategies that could improve patient outcomes in cancer and other diseases characterized by dysregulated immune responses.
