Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
WDR36 (WD Repeat Domain 36) is a crucial gene implicated in various biological processes, particularly in the context of cellular signaling and human diseases. Research into WDR36 has gained prominence due to its associations with glaucoma, a leading cause of blindness worldwide, where mutations in this gene can disrupt normal eye function. The protein product of WDR36 is part of a family characterized by WD40 repeats, which are known to facilitate protein-protein interactions, thus playing significant roles in cellular mechanisms like cell cycle regulation, transcriptional control, and RNA processing. The interest in WDR36 extends beyond ophthalmic conditions; studies have indicated potential links to other disorders, including neurodegenerative diseases and cancer, highlighting its broader biological importance. Researchers are increasingly focusing on the recombinant expression of WDR36 to explore its structural and functional properties, using techniques like molecular cloning and protein purification. Understanding WDR36 at a molecular level could provide insights into its mechanisms of action and the pathogenesis of related diseases, paving the way for potential therapeutic strategies. As investigations continue, the characterization of WDR36 as a recombinant protein will enhance our understanding of its role in health and disease, and foster the development of targeted interventions that may alleviate the impact of conditions associated with WDR36 dysfunction.
