Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EZH2 (Enhancer of Zeste Homolog 2) is a critical enzyme involved in the regulation of gene expression through its role as a histone methyltransferase, specifically targeting histone H3 at lysine 27 (H3K27). This protein is a core component of the Polycomb repressive complex 2 (PRC2), which is essential for maintaining transcriptional repression during development and cellular differentiation. Aberrant expressions or mutations in EZH2 have been implicated in various human malignancies, particularly in hematological cancers such as diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and follicular lymphoma, as well as in solid tumors. Research has shown that mutations in EZH2, which typically enhance its activity, lead to the silencing of tumor suppressor genes and contribute to cancer progression. Due to its pivotal role in oncogenesis, EZH2 has emerged as a promising therapeutic target, prompting extensive research into the development of small-molecule inhibitors aimed at disrupting its function. The production of recombinant EZH2 protein is crucial for understanding its biochemical properties, elucidating its mechanism of action, and screening potential inhibitors. Consequently, the study of EZH2 and its reconstitution as a functional protein represents a significant area of research in both cancer biology and therapeutic development, providing insights into potential interventions and treatments for EZH2-related malignancies.
