  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

WASPIP (Wiscott-Aldrich Syndrome Protein Interacting Protein) is a protein that plays a significant role in cellular signaling and actin cytoskeletal dynamics, contributing to various physiological processes such as immune response and cell migration. Originally identified as a binding partner of the Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein (WAS), which is crucial for T-cell function and platelet formation, WASPIP is implicated in the regulation of actin polymerization and the organization of the cytoskeleton. The study of WASPIP and its associated pathways has gained attention due to its potential involvement in immunological disorders and other diseases linked to cytoskeletal dysfunction. Researchers aim to understand the molecular mechanisms by which WASPIP exerts its effects, focusing on its interactions with other proteins and its role in cellular processes. The investigation of WASPIP has become increasingly relevant as it may provide insights into therapeutic strategies for conditions characterized by immune deficiencies or abnormal cell motility. Given its multifaceted roles in the cytoskeletal regulation and immune cell activation, understanding the function and regulation of WASPIP could open new avenues for targeted treatments and diagnostics in related diseases. Therefore, recombinant WASPIP proteins are of considerable interest for both fundamental research and potential clinical applications, promoting the exploration of their roles in health and disease.
