Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
WASL (Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome Protein-Like) is a crucial member of the WASP family, playing a significant role in actin cytoskeletal dynamics and cellular signaling. It shares structural similarities with the Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome (WAS) protein, which is associated with immunodeficiency, eczema, and thrombocytopenia. WASL is primarily expressed in various immune cells and non-hematopoietic tissues, functioning as a molecular link between receptor signaling and actin polymerization. Research into WASL has gained momentum due to its implications in immune response regulation, cell migration, and the pathogenesis of diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders. Studies have shown that WASL participates in the formation of cellular protrusions, influencing processes such as migration and invasion, which are critical in cancer metastasis. Additionally, mutations or dysregulation of WASL can lead to immune dysfunctions, highlighting its importance in maintaining immune system integrity. Understanding the structure and function of WASL is essential for elucidating its role in health and disease, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions in conditions where actin dynamics and immune responses are affected. As research progresses, the detailed characterization of WASL, including its interaction with other proteins and signaling pathways, could provide insights into novel strategies to modulate its activity, aiming to improve clinical outcomes in patients suffering from WASL-related disorders or cancer. Thus, the study of WASL and its recombinant forms presents a valuable avenue for both fundamental biological research and potential therapeutic development.
