Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
VPS39 is a crucial component of the HOPS (Helical-Organizing Protein and Sorting) complex, which plays a significant role in the endosomal-lysosomal trafficking pathway in cells. This protein is primarily involved in the fusion of late endosomes with lysosomes, a critical process for the degradation of various biomolecules. Research has shown that VPS39 contributes to cellular homeostasis and is essential for various cellular functions, including nutrient sensing, immune response, and cellular signaling. Mutations or dysregulation of VPS39 can lead to several pathological conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases and cancer. Understanding the structure and function of VPS39 through recombinant protein studies is crucial for elucidating its role in endosomal dynamics. This research can provide insights into potential therapeutic targets for diseases linked to VPS39 misfunction, thereby broadening our knowledge of cellular trafficking mechanisms and their implications in health and disease. Scientists utilize recombinant DNA technology to produce VPS39 in laboratory settings, allowing for in-depth biochemical analyses and functional assays. Such studies are vital for characterizing the protein's interactions with other components of the HOPS complex and understanding the broader signaling networks involved in vesicular transport. Overall, the investigation of VPS39 as a recombinant protein represents a promising avenue for advancing our understanding of cellular mechanisms and developing novel therapeutic approaches.
