Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DMGDH (Dimethylglycine dehydrogenase) is an important enzyme involved in the metabolism of dimethylglycine, a metabolite associated with various physiological processes, including energy production and osmoregulation. The enzyme catalyzes the oxidative demethylation of dimethylglycine to glycine, playing a crucial role in the metabolic pathway linking amino acids and methyl donors. Research on DMGDH has gained prominence due to its potential implications in human health and disease, particularly in relation to metabolic disorders and neurological conditions. Abnormalities in DMGDH activity may lead to an accumulation of dimethylglycine and other related metabolites, which could be linked to pathological states. The recombinant production of DMGDH provides a valuable tool for studying its enzymatic properties and regulatory mechanisms, facilitating a deeper understanding of its role in metabolism. Furthermore, recombinant DMGDH can be utilized for developing diagnostic methods and therapeutic strategies aimed at addressing metabolic dysregulation. Overall, the investigation of recombinant DMGDH enhances our comprehension of the enzyme's biochemical functions and its relevance in both health and disease contexts.
