Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TTK protein, also known as monopolar spindle 1 (MPS1), is a crucial serine/threonine kinase that plays a vital role in cell cycle regulation, particularly during the integrity of the mitotic spindle assembly checkpoint (SAC). The importance of TTK in ensuring proper chromosome segregation makes it a significant target in cancer research, as its dysregulation is often associated with various malignancies. Researchers have focused on the characterization and functional analysis of TTK, exploring its role in tumorigenesis and the potential for targeted therapeutic interventions. The recombinant expression of TTK protein allows for detailed studies of its biochemical properties, interactions with other cell cycle regulators, and its involvement in the mechanisms of drug resistance in cancer cells. This has sparked interest in understanding how TTK inhibitors could enhance the efficacy of existing cancer therapies. Through the development of recombinant TTK protein for structural and functional assays, scientists aim to gain insights that could lead to innovative treatment strategies for TTK-related cancers, thereby contributing to the progression of personalized medicine in oncology.
