Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DHX40 is a member of the highly conserved DEAH-box helicase family, which plays crucial roles in various cellular processes, including RNA metabolism, splicing, and gene expression regulation. Recent studies have highlighted the potential implications of DHX40 in disease mechanisms, particularly in cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, as it may influence the stability and processing of RNA molecules. The protein is characterized by its ability to unwind RNA structures, a vital function in maintaining RNA integrity during various cellular stress conditions. Research into DHX40 has gained momentum in the pursuit of understanding its specific interactions and functional roles within cellular pathways. Experimental approaches, including structural analysis and functional assays, are being employed to elucidate the mechanisms by which DHX40 exerts its effects. The generation of recombinant DHX40 protein through techniques such as plasmid insertion and bacterial expression systems has enabled detailed studies of its biochemical characteristics and interactions with other molecules. By investigating the structure-function relationship of DHX40, researchers aim to uncover its contributions to cellular dynamics and its potential as a therapeutic target in related diseases. Understanding the role of DHX40 in RNA biology will not only enhance our fundamental knowledge of helicase function but may also pave the way for novel strategies in treating conditions linked to RNA dysregulation.
