  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TRIM9 (Tripartite Motif Containing 9) is a member of the TRIM protein family, which is characterized by a common tripartite motif comprising a RING finger, a B-box, and a coiled-coil domain. These proteins are known to play crucial roles in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and response to stress. TRIM9 specifically has garnered interest due to its potential involvement in neuroprotection and synaptic functioning, as it is highly expressed in the brain. Recent studies have suggested that TRIM9 may modulate certain signaling pathways involved in neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases. Moreover, TRIM9 is implicated in the regulation of protein stability and degradation, impacting the turnover of substrates linked to cellular stress responses. Investigating the recombinant expression and functional analysis of TRIM9 is vital for elucidating its biological roles and understanding its mechanisms in neurobiology. Researchers have been focusing on producing TRIM9 as a recombinant protein to facilitate biochemical assays and characterize its interactions with other cellular proteins. This research can contribute to deciphering the underlying processes in diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, where TRIM9 may play a protective role. Overall, the study of TRIM9 as a recombinant protein holds promise for developing novel therapeutic strategies aimed at mitigating the effects of neurodegenerative conditions, enhancing our understanding of cellular signaling pathways relevant to brain health.
