Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SPATA5, or Spermatogenesis Associated 5, is a protein that has garnered interest due to its potential roles in male fertility and spermatogenesis. The gene encoding SPATA5 is primarily expressed in the testis, suggesting its critical function in male reproductive biology. Recent studies have highlighted SPATA5’s involvement in various cellular processes, including mitochondrial function and protein synthesis, which are essential for the proper development and maintenance of sperm cells. Given the increasing incidence of male infertility globally, understanding the molecular mechanisms involving SPATA5 could provide insights into potential therapeutic targets for reproductive disorders. Furthermore, the investigation of SPATA5 recombinant proteins has become pivotal in elucidating its structure-function relationship, facilitating studies on protein interactions and cellular pathways it may influence. Through advanced techniques such as CRISPR gene editing and protein engineering, researchers aim to clarify SPATA5's specific roles in spermatogenic processes and its implications in male infertility. As research progresses, the characterization of SPATA5 and its recombinant forms is expected to contribute significantly to reproductive biology and potentially lead to innovative strategies for addressing infertility issues.
