Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FAM114A2, a member of the FAM114 family, has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential involvement in various biological processes and diseases. Initially, research indicated that FAM114A2 might play a role in cellular stress response mechanisms and apoptosis, making it a candidate for studying its function in cancer biology. The reintroduction of FAM114A2 as a recombinant protein facilitates a better understanding of its biochemical properties and interactions within cells. Previous studies have suggested that altered expression levels of FAM114A2 are associated with certain malignancies, pointing toward its potential as a biomarker for tumor progression. Furthermore, investigations into the pathways influenced by this protein could provide insights into tumorigenesis and therapeutic targets. The recombinant form of FAM114A2 allows researchers to explore its structure-function relationships and determine the molecular basis of its activity in vitro. This research is crucial for elucidating the role of FAM114A2 in health and disease, ultimately contributing to the development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies aimed at improving outcomes for patients with cancers linked to FAM114A2 dysregulation.
