  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

SOX13, a member of the SRY-related HMG-box (SOX) transcription factor family, plays a crucial role in various developmental processes and is implicated in the regulation of gene expression associated with embryonic development, cell differentiation, and tissue homeostasis. Research has shown that SOX13 is particularly significant in the development of the nervous system and the immune system, making it a candidate for studying various diseases, including neurodevelopmental disorders and cancers. Its ability to regulate transcriptional networks highlights its potential as a therapeutic target. The generation of recombinant SOX13 protein has enabled detailed investigations into its biochemical properties, interactions with other proteins, and functional mechanisms. Understanding SOX13 at the molecular level through recombinant technologies can provide insights into its role in cell signaling pathways and its impact on developmental biology. This research has important implications for elucidating the molecular underpinnings of diseases associated with SOX13 dysregulation, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies and improved understanding of its involvement in various physiological processes.
